Very subjective topic but I would suggest MacArthur Court 5.31.69 "Sitting on Top of the World" Jerry nails a "how does he do it" solo. Just schweet! Also don't over look the amazing Veneta 1972 "Playing in the Band." This one and the MacArthur will stick with you through thick and thin.

8.27.72 has many many moments that are totally worthy. The Jam in Dark Star is more of a band moment but that's what Garcia was about.
2.18.71 also has some pretty awesome moments...Stephen>GDTRFB>NFA yummy!

Yah, that 5/31/69 is great...and the "sittin'" is great. I often wonder why they hung that song up.

Try Jerry's solo on "It's All Over Now" on Closing of Winterland 12/31/78. To me, it's quintessential Jerry.
